Jordi Romero

I'm a Computer Science Engineer from Barcelona.

I'm CEO and Partner at itnig, a startup accelerator from where we help other entrepreneurs create online businesses.

I used to be the CTO of Teambox, the company behind the greatest open-source collaboration software. While working at Teambox, I lived in Noe Valley, a nice neighborhood close to Castro, in San Francisco.

I studied in the Barcelona School of Informatics, or FIB, as we call it. It belongs to the UPC, or BARCELONATECH, as they like to call it now.

While studying, I used to work as a software consultant at JRDV with a more or less stable client portfolio.

My first language is Catalan, after that it comes Spanish, and then English. I also studied German in high school, and some Japanese a couple of years ago.

In my job, and also as a hobby, I developed web applications, and I made it fun by using Ruby on Rails, or just the newest toy in town.
